Greg Tango is a New York City-based director of photography. After graduating Emerson College with a BA in Cinematography and Photography, he went headfirst into the NYC freelance filmmaking scene. After spending a decade gaffing and learning from some of the city’s best, Greg transitioned to his true ambition, director of photography.

Greg specializes in commercial tabletop cinematography. He utilizes high frame rate shooting, robot motion control, and detailed lighting to create stunning visuals. His work isn’t just limited to the commercial space though! Greg’s feature film debut as a cinematographer, Eephus, had its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival’s Directors Fortnite 2024 and North American premiere at New York Film Festival 62. When not on set Greg can be found on the side of a mountain rock climbing or fishing with his dog Cheddar.
